Moving forward in our practice, we would like to introduce our latest addition in technology, the Motus AZ+ Laser from Cartessa. Even more exciting news is that we have not just one, but two Motus AZ systems to accommodate our community for ease of scheduling with two rooms offering the same technology! The Motus AZ+ offers Moveo (in-motion) technology for no-downtime treatment sessions targeting multiple skin concerns to treat ALL skin types safely and comfortably. This includes laser hair removal, pigmented lesion reduction, skin revitalization and vascular lesion reduction. It incorporates laser wavelengths of 755nm and 1064nm, with a more efficient and precise delivery of energy.  In layman terms, the Motus AZ+ gives our practice the ability to personalize treatments for each of you, with every skin tone in a much broader range with less potential side effects, less discomfort and of course quicker treatments!,

Laser Hair Removal, which is also correctly termed Laser Hair Reduction as it reduces hair 70-90% not 100%, is one of our most popular treatments here at Radiance and in the United States. Laser hair removal systems beam highly-concentrated rays of light into hair follicles. Pigment in the follicles absorb the light, which then destroys the hair cells. Differences in the energy, intensity and speed are used to treat different skin tones. The Motus, MoveoHR offers high-speed Alexandrite wavelength 755nm that makes it possible for light AND dark skin tones to benefit from the effectiveness of this laser wavelength. Moveo technology uses simple, continuous movements with a contact cooling system to deliver a precise dosage of energy, while minimizing surrounding tissue and providing a painless experience.  For the smaller, more precise or difficult areas of concern, the Motus allows the technicians to quickly switch to a more traditional wavelength, the 1064nm. The versatility, effectiveness and relatively painless approach given by the Motus AZ+ should encourage all clients to begin, continue or maintain your hair reduction/removal needs. 

A pigmented lesion is a spot on the skin, usually brown or a similar dark color, which often resembles a freckle. The cause is often sun damage or post inflammatory trauma to the skin cells causing increased melanin production in the skin. Most pigmented lesions are benign however, some may require a dermatology consultation. The Motus AZ+ utilizes the 755nm wavelength or MoveoPL to perform Pigmented Lesion Reduction. This can comfortably and effectively reduce small or large areas of pigmented lesions on your face, hands, arms, legs, chest or back. Reducing pigmentation gives our skin an even tone and helps to restore a more youthful glow. 

Skin Revitalization is a goal for every client walking through the doors of Radiance. The MoveoSR utilizes the 1064nm wavelength to target damaged and aging skin. It revitalizes collagen production, minimizes the appearance of pore size, fine lines and encourages a youthful glow while remaining fast and comfortable. 

Vascular Lesion Reduction refers to the diminishing of facial redness, rosacea and flushing with this smooth and pleasant treatment. MoveoVL uses the highly effective Nd:YAG laser or the 1064nm wavelength to target unwanted vascular lesions. Vascular concerns may include spider veins, telangiectasia, broken capillaries and cherry angiomas on not only our face but other body areas as well. Those pesky, red/purple veins will finally be minimized or completely resolved. Our clients have waited many years for this to be offered!
