The Dynamic Duo and Environmentally Safe Sunscreen

Let’s all do our part to keep our skin and the environment safe!

Keeping your face protected from the sun is key to keeping a healthy and ageless look.

Along with a daily SPF, we at Radiance recommend that clients use a topical vitamin C with their SPF. This creates even further protection from wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots. This dynamic duo will aid in reducing the appearance of brown spots and will brighten the skin daily!

Using topical vitamin C, (Our Fav-Circadia Vitamin C Reversal Serum) creates an additional layer of protection for your skin. The Vitamin C Reversal Serum inhibits the breakdown of collagen and boosts the skin collagen synthesis. It will protect your skin from environmental damage as well!

Our client favorite sunscreen is PCA Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45. This sunscreen is a lightweight, fast-absorbing SPF that is compatible with all skin types, especially for clients with concerns about acne and oily skin. This particular formula contains caffeine to prevent free radical damage.

We want our clients to stay protected from the sun, without impacting the environment in a negative manner. Sunscreens such as Circadia’s Light Day Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 37 or PCA’s Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45, will absorb quickly and enhance protection from UV rays just like any other sunscreen, but without harmful ingredients. Reef safe sunscreens do not include any ingredients harmful to the environment.

Since over 6,000 tons of sunscreen washes off humans into coral reef environments each year, the chemicals in the sunscreens may threaten up to 10% of the world’s coral reefs. All of the SPF products that we carry at Radiance are considered reef safe formulas.

Remember to always reapply SPF every four hours!
